Gerard is the former Managing Partner Financial Advisory Services and member of the executive board at Deloitte CIS, based in Moscow. As Talent Leader at Deloitte, Gerard was responsible for the development of more than 4,000 employees in 12 different locations in the CIS. At that moment, Gerard realised that his real vocation is in developing top managers to excel in their challenges.
His clients have brought him to 16 different countries where he worked on engagements and he brings this wealth of cultural diversity to his coaching, leadership and organisational development. His fascination on how to develop better leadership and high performance into organisations has also brought him academic cooperation with the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, where he teaches and researches leadership.
Gerard is educated and licensed as an auditor, is experienced in all aspects of finance and (M&A) strategy but his passion is in developing leaders. His main focus is in coaching and training executives, and developing high performing teams and organisations. Gerard is a licensed practitioner of Career Path Appreciation (CPA) and Linked Personality Appreciation (LPA), wich are both tools used in his consulting for Bioss International.
He is member of the Dutch Association of Auditors (NBA) and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). Gerard is Chairman of the Accounting Committee of the Association of European Businesses in Russia and member of the Advisory Board of NANR, the alumni associations of Russian scientists and businessmen who have studied in the Netherlands. Gerard is board member of Atlas, a Russian biomedical start-up, and board member in a Russian-European joint venture.
